Scindia asks women to be prepared for MP assembly polls

Gwalior, MP, Sep 6 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Jyotiraditya Scindia today said women must get prepared for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.

Mr Scindia, while addressing a divisional conference of the Mahila Congress, said the Congress had always respected women and started several welfare schemes for them.

He said atrocities against women had intensified in the state.

Congress party's Madhya Pradesh incharge general secretary V Narayan Sami said the party would provide tickets to women, who can win in assembly polls.

State Congress President Suresh Pachouri, Mahila Congress President Prabha Thakur and state Mahila Congress President Shobha Ojha addressed the conference.
