AP Council adjourned sine die

Hyderabad, Sep 6 (UNI) The monsoon session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Legislative Council came to a close today, with Deputy Speaker and Chairman, respectively adjourning the Houses sine die.

The Assembly session began on August 25 and that of the council the next day.

Fifteen bills were passed in the Assembly and the council.

The main opposition Telugu Desam and TRS moved a notice for no confidence motion against Assembly speaker N Suresh Reddy.

This is to be taken up on September 15 special session.

In all, 180 members made speeches and 302 supplementaries came up in the council session.
