840 load carriers arrive in Kahsmir, 1047 left

Srinagar, Sep 6 (UNI) As many as, 1887 load carriers departed and entered the valley during last 24 hours.

Of these, 840 trucks and tankers carrying essential commodities and fuel entered the valley and 1047 laden with fresh fruit, vegetables and other commodities besides empty tankers left from the valley during the same period.

Giving these details here today, the spokesman of Divisional Administration said 206 load carriers with rice, 24 with sugar, 34 with flour, 12 with sheep, 7 with chicken, 37 with fruit, 319 with other commodities, 32 with petrol, 61 with diesel, 35 with kerosene oil, 37 with LPG, 4 with milk entered the valley while as 32 empty trucks after off loading goods outside also returned during the same period.

He said of the 1047 load carriers which left the valley towards outside destinations with goods, 384 carried fresh fruit, 32 vegetables, 134 other commodities and 497 empty after off loading fuel here.
