Zardari wants a new fund for terror victims
Islamabad, Sept 5 : Pakistan is the biggest target of global terrorists and it should set up a special fund for terrorism victims in the country, said PPP Co-Chairman and presidential hopeful.
He urged upon the Government to set up such a fund at the earliest.
"Our nation is the biggest target of global terrorists," Zardari said and added that it was unfortunate that the debate on global terrorism repeatedly stressed Pakistan's position in the war on terror but conveniently ignored the plight of terror victims.
According to the Daily Times, the PPP co-chairman asked the government to set up a fund for the rehabilitation of terror victims, saying that the fund would provide financial independence to the aggrieved families and protect their children from being affected by terrorists' propaganda.
Zardari further said, "The war against terrorism is not the West's war, it is our war."
