Special category for Haj pilgrims

Chandigarh, Sep 5 (UNI) The Haj Committee, India has constituted a special category to facilitate the Haji pilgrims of Haryana who do not wish to visit Makka in the 'White' and 'Aziziya' categories.

Chief executive officer of State Haj Committee S K Joshi said the proposed Haj pilgrims had to submit an amount of Rs 70,193 for foreign exchange in addition to the air fare.

The payment of this amount could be deposited in the account of Haj Committee, India having number 30361856116 for accommodation at Makka Mukarrama.

They were requested to intimate the Haj committee, India (Mumbai) along with the receipt regarding the change of category by September 30, he added.
