MPs asked to donate liberally for Bihar flood relief
New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) Rajya Sabha Chairman Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today jointly appealed to the MPs of all parties to donate atleast Rs 10 lakhs from their MPLADS funds towards relief and rehabilitation operations going on in the flood affected areas of North-Bihar.
The Lok Sabha Speaker has already contributed Rs 10 lakhs from his MPLADS funds and a month's salary.
