Tata Motors to remain focussed on small cars
New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata today said Tata Motors will continue to focus on the small car segment.
''We will not survive in big car segment as we lack infrastructure and expertise,'' Mr Tata told reporters here.
''There will be a small car that we will do'', he continued.
Hopeful of rise in demand for low-price small cars in the country in the near future, Mr Tata said, ''In India, low-price small cars will dominate the market as it reaches out to the segment who would be shifting from a two-wheeler to a car as personal vehicle.'' UNI TEAM SG AS1621
