Washington, Sept.4 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been branded the worst running mate in American history.

According to The Mirror, the Republican vice-presidential hopeful's selection has complicated matters for the Grand Old Party, as serious questions are now being asked about her vetting process.

1.Palin is a proud hunter who loves gunning down wild animals including rabbits and caribou in cold blood

2.She has been extremely vociferous in her opposition of same-sex marriage

3. She has often been criticised by environmentalists for opposing restrictions on oil drilling in Alaska

4.She intervened to sack a state trooper who was involved in a divorce battle with her sister.

5.Palin's five-months' pregnant daughter Bristol was with her mum at the Republican Convention in Minnesota last night.

6.Palin has agreed to reduce funding for Covenant House Alaska by more than 20 per cent, from five million dollars to 3.9 million dollars.
