Govt should think again on land acquisition policy: Bajaj
New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Expressing concern over the suspension of work at Tata's Singur plant, Bajaj Industries Chairman Rahul Bajaj today said the government should reconsider its land acquisition policy.
''Whatever happened in the Singur is unfortunate and I would say the government should reconsider its land acquisition policy to avoid such incidents in future,'' Mr Bajaj told reoprters here.
Saying that there would be no loss to the country if the Tatas pull out from the West Bengal, Mr Bajaj, however, hopes the situation to normalise soon with Nano coming from Singur itself.
Commenting on the rumours of the Bajajs involvement behind the issue, he said, ''All are lies...people are trying to make fools.'' UNI TEAM SG RK1518
