Police resort to mild lathicharge to dispurse clashing crowd
Hubli, Sep 3(UNI) Police used a mild force to dispurse two rival groups involved in a clash near a prayer hall in the city today.
Police said that the trouble started when a group of youth in drunken status assembled near the prayer hall and created nuisance which was objected by another group.
The police intervened and resorted to mild lathi charge when both the groups indulged in stone pelting.
The situation was brought under control and police were on hunt for those who had created the trouble, the sources said.
