UHBVN to replace bare HT, LT wires with Aerial Bunched Cable
Chandigarh, Sep 2 (UNI) To ensure safety of the general public, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has decided to replace all bare High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) wires passing over the public parks with HT/LT Aerial Bunched Cable (ABC).
The Nigam would now avoid crossing over of the lines at the public parks to ensure safety. In case it is found unavoidable, HT or LT ABC will be provided for crossing over, a spokesman of UHBVN said.
A spokesman of UHBVN said that the wires would be replaced at the Nigam's cost for which necessary instructions have been issued to the field offices.
