1 dead in heavy rains lashing Nashik
Nashik, Sept 2 (UNI) One person lost his life in the heavy rains lashing the city and adjoining areas since the last three days.
The deceased have been identified as Chandrakant Chavan.
Normal life and preparations for the Ganeshotsav festival were also disrupted. Trees as well as electricity poles were uprooted at some places. Many parts of the city experienced powercuts.
Meanwhile, a person was also injured due to lightning yesterday.
