One killed and four fall ill after drinking contaminated water

Bangalore, Sept 1 (UNI) One person was killed and four others fell ill after drinking contaminated water at Shira-Kalambella village in Tumkur District, about 80 km from here today.

Police said the victims drank water from a pond and fell ill.

They were admitted to Government Hospital in Tumkur of whom one died despite the treatment.
