Edelweiss A M announces maiden funds

Mumbai, Sep 1 (UNI) Edelweiss Asset Management Limited, the investment manager to Edelweiss Mutual Fund, announced the launch of its maiden funds, Edelweiss Liquid Fund and Edelweiss Liquid Plus Fund.

The new fund offers, opening today would close on September eight, 2008. They would re-open for on-going purchase and redemption from September 11.

Speaking at the launch, Edelweiss Asset Management Limited chief executive officer Jimmy A Patel said, ''Going ahead, we are planning to launch 10 to 12 products over the next one year across the spectrum of equity, derivatives and debt.'' UNI VK RN VKG1800
