APCC call to speed up membership drive

Hyderabad, Sept 1 (UNI) Andhra Praddesh Congress Committee (APCC) President D Srinivas today called upon the party Legislators, Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Concil to strive hard to speed up the membership drive of the party.

Mr Srinivas who held district wise review meetings with leaders said that the party would allocate party tickets in the next elections only to those who strive hard.

He asked them to take the developmental and welfare schemes of the government to the people in co-ordination with the district leaders and workers of the party.

MPs, MLAs and MLCs from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Kurnool and Mahaboobnagar districts particiated in the meeting.
