15 hurt in AP group clash

Vijayawada, Sep 1 (UNI) As many as 15 people were injured in group clash at Agiripalli Village of Krishna District today.

Police said trouble began after two groups hurled abuses at each other using caste names. They used sticks and chilli powder and damaged at least 15 vehicles in the vicinity.

The situation was brought under control after heavy police reinforcements were rushed to the area. Cases have been registered against the warring groups.
