Debts drives brother, sister to commit suicide
Bangalore, Aug 30 (UNI) Unable to bear mounting debts, an aged brother and sister allegedly committed suicide in the city.
Police said Umesh (62) and Gayatri (57) hung themselves in their home last week. The incident came to light today.
Circle Inspector Bhaskar said the rotten bodies were recovered from their JP Nagar Home. Hailing from Kundapur and working in the city for long, they both remained unmarried and borrowed money beyond capacity to repay.
They wrote in a suicide note that they had no source to repay their debts and hence, were committing suicide.
One of their brothers, working in a State Government office, filed a complaint with the police after coming to know of the incident.
