SWR to run special train to clear extra rush
Bangalore, Aug 29 (UNI) South Western Railways (SWR) will run one special train to clear extra rush between Viyayawada and Vasco-Da-Gama.
A release from the Railways said here today the special train would leave Vijayawada today and reach Vasco-Da-Gama tomorrow.
The train will operate between Guntur, Narasaraopet, Danakonda, Giddalur, Nandyal, Dhone, Guntakal, Bellary, Hospet, Gadag, Hubli, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem and Madgaon.
A special train will also run between Ernakulam and Bangalore to clear extra rush for the ensuing Onam festival. Ernakulam-Bangalore city special will depart Ernakulam at 1700 hrs on September 8 and 15 and arrive at Bangalore 0420 hrs, next day.
The train will operate between Trichur, Shoranur, Ottappalam, Palghat, Podannur, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Tirupattur, Jolarpettai, Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment, the release added.
