Five dead, 10 injured in road accident near Junagadh
Rajkot, Aug 29 (UNI) Five people were killed and ten others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Junagadh on the Junagadh-Vanthali highway today.
According to police, the occupants of the ill-fated autorickshaw were on their way to Junagadh from Vanthali when the sand-laden Truck, coming to Veraval from Junagadh, collided head-on with the autorickshaw near Vadal railway crossing, about 10 kms from Junagadh.
Seven of the seriously injured were shifted to Rajkot civil hospital, while remaing three were being treated at Junagadh civil hospital, police said.
