Sultry condition persists in Kolkata

Kolkata, Aug 28 (UNI) The sultry weather condition in the city and its adjoining areas persisted today with the mercury shooting up to 34.5 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature was pegged at 26.2 degrees Celsius, local Met office said.

The Met office has predicted partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours with the possibility of light drizzle.
