Militant groups announce task force to conduct enquiries

Imphal, Aug 28(UNI) Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup(KYKL) and United National Liberation Front (UNLF) today announced the formation of joint task force to enquire various issues in Manipur.

Namoijam Oken, General Secretary, KYKL and Narengbam Thabal, General Secretary, UNLF told media persons here that the reports of the task force will be submitted to the coordination committee which in turn will submit the report to the two General Secretaries.

One sided report will not be solicited, they said.

They also appealed the people to respect the move in the better interest of the society.

The task force will enquire about irregularities conducted specially in health, human resource and education sectors, the leaders added.
