Godrej unveils Comprehensive security solution

Chennai, Aug 28 (UNI) Godrej Security Equipment Division (GSED), a Godrej Group company today unveiled a "Comprehensive Security Solution", comprising intelligent, scientifically configured and managed security systems for specific safety requirements.

Addressing a press conferernce here, Mr D E Byramjee, Vice President and Business head, GSED said the company had come out with the product to provide customers a comprehensive security solution to handle various security threats.

"Offering comprehensive security solutions is a perfect approach to all round security because it is easier and much more cost effective for a customer to deal with one security partner", he said.

There were more than 100 players in providing security in the areas of Premises security, Electronic security and Physical security but Godrej was the only company to offer a comprehensive security, covering the three segements, he said.

"Godrej has embarked on a strategy to give special focus to providing customers, comprehensive security solutions, combining the three areas on a turnkey basis", he said.

GSED was catering to segments like banks, institutions, homes and marine, he said adding "our vision is to make GSED, the first choice for total security solution".

The division had made a turnover of Rs 300 crore last year and was expected to make a turnover of Rs 400 crores, during 2008-09 and by the year 2012, it would become a Rs 1000 crore company, he added.
