Detailed plan drawn to clear sewage in Amritsar
Amritsar, Aug 28 (UNI) A detailed plan has been prepared to solve the problem of disposal of sewage water from this holy city, Local Government and Industries Minister Manoranjan Kalia said here today.
He stated that a Rs 1.23 crore project has been prepared by Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board for laying sewer lines from Main Disposal works on Hukam Singh Road upto Majitha Road drain.
He said that the instructions have been given to Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board to start the work immediately and finish it within six months to solve the problem for disposal of the sewage water in Civil Lines Area.
