Bajrang Dal slams Raj govt for overlooking SIMI activities
Kota, Aug 28 (UNI) The Bajrang Dal today launched an offensive against the BJP-led Rajasthan government for ''taking an ignorant view'' on the activities of the banned Muslim outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in this district of Rajasthan.
The Dal spokesman said, in a statement here, despite a ban on the controversial Muslim youth outfit, the State government knowingly overlooked its activities.
The spokesman said as many as seven SIMI activists had recently been arrested in connection with the May 13 serial blasts in Jaipur, which shows the depth of the network of the banned outfit.
Besides this, it has also been revealed that the organisation had also held militant training camps in Nanta near Kota town, the spokesman added.
