High Court to take up bail plea of SIMI activists
Hubli, Aug, 27 (UNI) The circuit bench of the High court will take-up the bail applications of four SIMI activists, now in jail, tomorrow.
The bail applications was moved by the defendant lawyers a week ago in the High Court Bench at Dharwad and the court had directed the Public Prosecutor to file his objection in a week's time.
The Simi members Dr Mirja Beig, Yahya Kummakutti and Asadulla, are at present at Belgaum and Bellary jails, had moved the bail applications before the High Court Bench.
Justice Ravi Nayak had taken up the bail application for consideration.
The CoD had filed charge sheet against all accused recently in the District court for their involvement in suspected terror activities. Their bail had been earlier rejected by the District Court.
