SBI fake currency racket: SHO dismissed

Siddharthnagar, Aug 26: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Dumariyaganj, the area where the multi-crore fake currency racket was busted at the State Bank of India (SBI) here, has been dismissed.

The information was provided by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Basti range K K Tripathi today.

Shamsher Bahadur Singh was suspended last Tuesday and orders for detection of his property were passed.

Earlier, he was also attached to lines over the same and official inquiry was initiated against him and policemen involved into the case.
