Court sentences father to 10 years RI for raping his daughter

New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) A Delhi court today sentenced a father to ten years rigorous imprisonment for raping his ten-year-old daughter on March 10, 2005 in Kaosal Puri area under Model Town police station.

Ashok,32, raped his minor daughter when he was under the influence of liquor.

The next day, in the morning the girl informed her neighbours who took her to the police station and the case was registered.

The mother of the child had died three years before the incident and the girl was living alone with her father in the rented accommodation.

Additional Session Judge K S Mohi also imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on the convicted father.
