Power utilities announce annual power supply schedule
Chandigarh, Aug 23 (UNI) In order to achieve the goal of full consumer satisfaction and ensure an uninterrupted power supply, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam have decided to implement an annual schedule for the benefit of consumers.
Giving details, an official spokesman said the Superintending Engineers would hold 'Bijli Sabhas', on fourth day of every month to redress the grievances of electricity consumers on the spot.
On the seventh, the authorised officers would hold meetings with representatives of housing societies and industrial associations. The progress of works would be reviewed on ninth of every month.
The officers would have interaction with the customer care advisors and retries of Haryana Power Utilities on 11th of every month and 14th would be observed as Energy Conservation day.
The Executive Engineers would hold Open Darbars in any sub station on 15th of every month. The Superintending Engineers will arrange Karamchari Darbars on 21st day of the month to settle the pending issues of the employees.
They will be free to arrange sports or extra curricular activities for the employees which would help motivating them towards their duties.
