UP assembly adjourned sine die

Lucknow, Aug 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned sine die after a brief four-day monsoon session.

Yesterday, the house passed the first Supplementary Budget to the tune of Rs 5916.17 crore, which was tabled by the state government on August 19.

On the last day today, the assembly passed six bills, including the UP Jamindari Vinash aur Bhumi Vaivastha Amendment bill ensuring rights to the unmarried girl in their parents property.

On the opening day of the session, Chief Minister Mayawati had announced to implement the sixth pay commission report for the state employees.
