Rs 754.5 lakh approved for NH road improvent

Puducherry,Aug 21(UNI)Union Shipping,Road Transport and Highways Minister T R Baalu has approved road improvement works on two different stretches of National Highway 45 A in Puducherry at a cost of Rs 754.5 lakh.

According to an official release here today,Rs 424.23 lakh has been approved for improving the riding quality from Madagadippet to Ariyur in NH 45 A and Rs 330.27 lakh for carrying out road improvement from Ariyur to Villianur in the same NH.

Originating from Villupuram,NH 45 A passes through Puducherry and ends at Nagapatinam.
