Punjab's doctor gets top US award for dental implants

Chandigarh, Aug 21 (UNI) Punjab Cadre dentist Dr Randeep Singh Mann has got Fellowship of International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Dr Mann, who is presently on deputation with Chandigarh Administration, is the first doctor of Punjab and Chandigarh to receive this US award for dental implants.

The award was bestowed by the International Congress of Oral Implantology after scrutinising oral implants received from all over the world.

Dr Mann has been invited by the International Congress to receive the award at a special ceremony during 11th Implant Prosthetic Symposium to be held at Chicago Illinois on August 24.

Dr Mann has also been appointed as Visiting Observer Faculty in the department of Dentistry at Yale-New-Haven Hospital and Department of Surgery (Dental) Yale School of Medicine.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today congratulated Dr Mann for achieving this global distinction.
