Nikon to launch 5 new COOLPIX digital cameras
New Delhi, Aug 21: Nikon, the Japanese camera giant is all set to add a bright new dimension to coming festive season by introducing its five new COOLPIX digital cameras and stamping the joyous occasion on print and digitised images.
Nikon India Managing Director Hidehiko Tanaka said to the media on Thursday, Aug 21,'' We expect to fuel the growth of the culture of photography in India through our innovative products. Our latest range of cameras represents some of some of the most cutting edge technologies in the market including GPS, touch-screen capabilities and Wi-Fi transfers.'' ''These cameras -- P6000, S60, S710, S610, S560 and D700-- not only have features to help consumers take great pictures, but they also enhance the fun factor in photography for everyone, from first time shooters to experienced photographers,'' he added.
Nikon India Marketing Head Prashant K Singh said,'' We have not yet fixed the prices of these cameras. These cameras will be available in the market within the next 20 or 30 days. And we are hopeful these cameras will capture a substantial portion of the market.''
