Husband commits suicide after killing wife

Sasaram, Aug 21 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a husband shot dead his wife and then allegedly committed suicide by firing on himself here today.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Rohtas district P Kannan said one Ayodha Sau, a resident of Koachas village of the district, shot dead his wife and later allegedly committed suicide by firing on himself.

On hearing the gun shots, the neighbours rushed to the house of Sau and found the couple lying dead in a splash of blood.

The police later sent the bodies to a local hospital for autopsy.
