Dr Verma to head Science Council

Bhopal, Aug 21 (UNI) The Madya Pradesh government has appointed Dr Pramod K Verma as Director General of Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council.

He replaced Dr Mahesh Sharma, who had resigned, official sources said, adding at present Dr Verma was Professor of Applied Geology in the Ujjain's Vikram University.

The Departmental Minister had also been appointed Chairman of the Council's Executive Committee in place of the Director General, the sources added.
