'Skating out of car doors', Saudi Arabian boys' latest craze!

London, Aug 20 : An incredible video on YouTube shows what has become the latest dangerous craze to hit Saudi Arabia - 'Skating out of car doors'.

The clip, which has been viewed by more than 1.1 million times on YouTube, appears to be genuine, reports the Telegraph.

Three boys lean out of the doors of a speeding car, appearing to 'skate' along the tarmac on their sandals on a busy Saudi Arabian road.

Dressed in white robes that billow in the wind, the boys appear oblivious to the dangers of their actions, even as one of them is nearly crushed against another car.

Half way through the footage, one of the men hangs out of the vehicle at an almost horizontal angle, only his single-handed grip on an open door preventing him from tumbling into the road.

The men's antics were filmed by someone in a car driving alongside.

The person, who posted the video on Youtube, claimed it took place on the Riyadh ring road, and said that a friend gave him the clip.

A dangerous racing game known as 'drifting' has long been popular in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.

Drivers accelerate to high speeds before pulling up the handbrake, allowing them to slide along on their back wheels.
