Lok Satta blames Cong, TDP for promoting caste politics

Hyderabad, Aug 20 (UNI) Lok Satta President Jayaprakash Narayan today alleged that both the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh were trying to divide people on caste lines for their votebank politics.

In a statement here, he allged that the mainstream parties were indulging in ''unpardonable'' crime of promoting hatred among castes.'' He also alleged that the parties, which have ruled the state, have turned Backward Class people into mendicants instead of helping them stand on their own feet by providing quality education, healthcare and employment skills.
