Venus Remedies' mfg facilities gets accredited from MoH, Kenya
New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) Pharmaceutical firm Venus Remedies today said its manufacturing facilities have been accredited with good manufacturing practices certification by the Pharmacy&Poisons Board, Ministry of Health (MoH), Kenya.
The Inspectorate of MoH, Kenya had conducted a detailed inspection of the manufacturing facilities on the Baddi campus earlier this year and found them to be compliant of all quality standard requirements as per PPB and WHO-GMP norms.
This certification has opened the Kenyan markets for the company products.
The company has filed 28 product dossiers for its range of Cephalosporin, Carbapenem and Oncology formulations for registration in Kenya, out of which eight products have already been registered.
It has tied up with one of the leading pharmaceutical distributor of Kenya and the first order for the territory has been successfully executed in the second quarter.
