Two killed in land dispute
Madhepura, Aug 17(UNI) Two people were killed and as many injured in a shoot-out between the rival groups following a dispute over a plot of land at Basantpur village under Shankarpur police station area in the district today.
Police said Bindeshwar Sah and Shambhu Sah were killed on the spot while two others sustained injuries in the incident.
The tension was brewing between the families of Bindeshwar Sah and Shambhu Sah for the last few months over the possession of a plot of land at the village, he said.
The injured had been admitted to a local hospital.
