Only Tamil should be Pondy's CM: TTS

Puducherry, Aug 16 (UNI) ''Thani Tamizhar Sena'' a political organisation today opposed the reported move to remove Chief Minister N Rangasamy from his post.

Talking to newspersons here, Sena founder Nagaimukhan said even though not part of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry was Tamil land and the desire of a Malayali or a Telugu to become Chief Minister of Puducherry only because it is Union Territory having Mahe and Yanam, could not be accepted.

If Mr Rangasamy was removed, only a Tamil should be made Chief Minister, he demanded.
