Vice President greets nation on Independence Day
New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Vice President Hamid Ansari today extended warm wishes to the nation on the eve of the 62nd Independence Day.
''Let us take a pledge on this occasion to strive towards realising the dream of a developed India, where all citizens have the opportunity to live with dignity,'' Dr Ansari said.
Independence day is a joyous occassion and we should rededicate ourselves to secure our nation its rightful place in the world, he added.
