Adlabs opens new cinema in Gurgaon; screenings from tomorrow

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) After setting up a multiplex hall in Noida, Adlabs Cinemas has announced the opening of its first cinema in Gurgaon.

Screenings at the three screen multiplex, situated at Ansal Plaza in Palam Vihar, will begin from tomorrow on the occasion of India's Independence Day, sources in Adlabs Cinemas, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and India's leading entertainment conglomerate Adlabs Films, today said.

The new three screen cinema with 802 seats will cater to a population over a 700 acre spread and is in proximity to Gurgaon's densely populated residential sectors with an easy approach from Vasant Kunj, Vasant Vihar, Dwarka, Delhi Cantt etc. With Indira Gandhi International Airport and five star hotels like Maurya Sheraton, Radisson, Uppal's Orchid nearby, it is accessible to tourists as well.

Apart from Adlabs' usual booking methods such as telebooking, internet booking and Mobile Box Office, the cinema also offers a self-ticketing counter for Do it Yourself bookings.

Adlabs Cinemas is the largest cinema chain in India and presently has 179 screens spread over 69 properties nationwide. It is also building up a sizable international presence, having recently acquired majority interest in Malaysia-based Lotus Five Star Cinemas, and will be operating a 51 screen cinema chain in Malaysia.

The international network, in addition to Malaysia, also includes 221 screens covering the East, Mid West and West Coast of USA as also Mauritius and Nepal.
