DHBVN to open Grievance Redressal Forum in Gurgaon

Chandigrh, Aug 13 (UNI) The Forum of Redressal of Consumer Grievances of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) will start functioning at Gurgaon from August 18.

A Nigam spokesman said here today that to begin with it would start functioning in the premises of office of the General Manager (Operations) of DHBVN at Mahrauli Road, Gurgaon.

The staff of the GM's office would give assistance to the President of the forum for receiving complaints of consumers. On the first day, on August 18, the forum will hear 11 cases.

He said that the Forum of Redressal of Consumer Grievances would function at Gurgaon for second fortnight of every month.

The decision had been taken in order to mitigate the grievances of the consumers and speedy disposal of their complaints.

It would now be convenient to the consumers in districts Faridabad, Gurgaon, Mewat, Rewari and Mahendragarh to approach the forum in case their grievances were not redressed at the level of DHBVN's officers.
