Meet the biker who outran 17 police vehicles and a chopper at 130mph!

London, August 13 : Leave aside overtaking the fastest of vehicles on the road, a motorcyclist even outran a police helicopter recently.

Chris O'Donovan, 44, led 17 police vehicles on a 23 mile chase at 130mph, and outran the police helicopter across Wilts on his Kawasaki ZX600 before going home to bed.

He was arrested on Tuesday at his flat in Devizes, and identified by his clothing.

He has admitted dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

O'Donovan was also given a three-year drive ban at Swindon crown court.

"This was an incredibly irresponsible act," the Mirror quoted Supt Matt Pullen as saying afterwards.
