TTP warn MPs against voting for Musharraf during Impeachment Motion
Mingora (NWFP), Aug 10 : The Pakistan unit of the Taliban - Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) has warned MPs against voting for President Pervez Musharraf during the Impeachment Motion tomorrow, saying anyone voting for Musharraf would be their "next target".
TTP spokesman Muslim Khan said that Musharraf was 'responsible' for the present spate of violence in the Tribal Areas and NWFP.
Khan alleged that the President was intent upon "destroying Islam and Pashtuns at the behest of his American masters", reported the Daily Times.
The PPP and PML-N have sent the President a summary to summon the National Assembly session on August 11 when the National Assembly is expected to take up the matter of Musharraf's impeachment.
Independent MNAs from FATA are expected to play a decisive role in the number game.
