Hot and humid conditions return to Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) Warm and humid weather conditions returned to Delhi today raising the mercury in the city to 35 degrees Celsius.
The appearance of a bright Sun in the sky, coupled with a high humidity level of 94 per cent, led to a return to slightly humid conditions even though the maximum and minimum temperatures remained either normal or below normal in the Capital.
The maximum temperature rose to 35 degrees against 34 degrees of yesterday. The minimum was recorded at 26.6 against 25.1 degrees Celsius of yesterday.
After heavy rains over the last couple of days, it was a second rainless today. The lull in rain is likely to break tomorrow with the weatherman forecasting some thundershowers in the city during the next 24 hours.
The Met office has forecast a cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the possibility of rain in some areas.
