Three arrested in connection with Vikas Marg murder case
New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Delhi Police today claimed to have solved the daylight murder of a Nokia showroom employee with the arrest of three members of the Bablu gang.
The victim Mahesh Kapoor was shot dead by motorcycle - borne assailants, while he was parking his scooter just in front of his showroom on Vikas Marg on July 8. The assailants also looted cash amounting to Rs 1.34 lakh, which Mahesh had withdrawn from HDFC bank.
Police at first nabbed two of the culprits--Yogesh Kumar and Arun Sharma while they were on their way to meet their leader Hari Kishan, 33, at the Indraprastha Metro Station. The duo opened fire at the policemen but were overpowered.
Later, the police party rushed to the Metro station and apprehended Hari Kishan, who works with the Bablu gang on contract basis.
The police recovered two pistols and two stolen motorbikes from them.
