Groundnutseed, oil, RBD Palmolein eases

Mumbai, Aug 8 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and oil, RBD Palmolein fell today on sluggish demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil (10 kgs), groundnut oil and kandla declined by Rs five per 10 kgs respectively. Sunflower exp and RBD palmolein also slipped by Rs 10 and Rs two per ten kg respectively, on poor offtake.

However, cottonseed refined remained steady on scattered buying by stockists.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and javas 60/70 fell by Rs 25 per quintal on lack of demand. Both, castorseed Bombay and Disa were also down by Rs 50 and Rs 40 per quintal respectively, on lower buying support by bulk consumers.

In de-oil cakes, all the cakes remained steady, traders added.
