Pune, Aug 8 (UNI) Megamart, the retail arm of India's largest integrated textile manufacturer and a leading branded apparel and retailer, Arvind Ltd, today launched its second large format store here.
Talking to reporters at the opening, Arvind Brands and Retail Chief Executive Officer J Suresh said they were targetting a turnover of Rs 2000 crore by 2012.
''We are in the expansion mode and will open 30 outlets in 21 towns in Maharashtra covering the two, three and four tier cities and 90 stores in 55 towns, covering Gujarat, northern and southern cities, which is an ongoing process. We have an edge, as our pricing is dynamic since sourced from Arvind Ltd and will use our network of vendors as integrated players,'' he said.
The outlet here houses a gamut of categories including men's, women's and children's wear, accessories, luggage and footwear from leading brands such as Allen Solley, Adidas, Arrow, Citizen, Color Plus, Van Huesen, Wrangler's and many other leading brands.
