76 pilgrims leave for Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 7: Amid tight security, a fresh batch of 76 pilgrims left for Shri Amarnath cave shrine on Friday, Aug 8 morning from Bhagwati Nagar base camp , official reports said.

As per the official reports 76 pilgrims, including 35 male, three females and 38 sadhus left for the holy cave shrine situated in south kashmir in two passenger buses.

The yatra, however, witnessed a steep fall after protests rocked Jammu and Kashmir over the Amarnath land row.
