Yatri dies on way to Amarnath cave in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 5 (UNI) A 70-year-old pilgrim from Bihar died on way to the holy Amarnath cave in south Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said Bikhari Das complained chest pain at Sheshnag on the Pahalgam-Cave shrine route and was immediately rushed to medical camp, where he died due to heart attack.

About 50 pilgrims, besides half-a-dozen locals have died, mostly due to heart attack, during the two-month-long pilgrimage, commenced from June 18 this year.
